Welcome to Everybody Physiotherapy, we offer a specialised and professional Physiotherapy service in a relaxed environment, diagnosing and treating a variety of musculo skeletal disorders and conditions.
Our mission is to get you up and about as quickly as possible and back to doing the things you enjoy, in the right way and pain free!
So what is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a science based and regulated health care profession that helps to restore movement, function and wellbeing by use of comprehensive assessments and a range of scientifically proven treatment techniques such as mobilisation, massage, exercise and electrotherapy.
How does it work?. ..whether you’ve had an accident, an injury, a fall at work, a strain from recreational activity or are just recovering from an operation, Everybody Physiotherapy’s aim is to resolve your symptoms as well as treating the underlying cause.
At Everybody Physiotherapy we will ensure we LISTEN to you in order to gather the correct information on what has happened. We will ASK you questions to explore and find out the mechanism of the injury /pain and ensure that you fully understand your problem and its implications.
We will EXAMINE you physically and test how you function by analysing the way you move and walk, checking your posture, testing your muscles, ligaments and nerves. We will then EXPLAIN the cause of your symptoms, set goals with you and discuss evidence based treatment options to select the appropriate course of action for your condition.
We will not only TREAT your symptoms but also treat the underlying cause of your symptoms to prevent any reoccurrence. And finally...we will carefully MONITOR your progress but if further work is needed we will refer you to another healthcare professional or specialist if needed.
